A writer’s job is never done. We are surrounded by inspirations, deadlines and demands. There is, perhaps, no other job in this world that is more challenging or gratifying.
I have spent many a years, pen in hand with blank paper in front of me… creating. Writing poetry to express my feelings, characters to help me tell a story, stories to explain a situation, articles to spread needed information, sales copy to help a client… My job is an ideal one.
There are few jobs in this life that I have not done, truly a “jack of all trades”, which has helped me diversify my writing… but writing… that is my passion, it is what I love to do… it what make me who I am.

Excellent post. Thank you for creating this one and spreading around encouragement for other writers to stumble onto. It is a passion, isn’t it? I once did some research to find out which jobs had the highest satisfaction and author/writers were in the top ten. I am an English teacher and an aspiring writer, thank you for encouraging me today.
